We petition the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF), the United States Jiu-Jitsu Federation (USJJF), the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC), and all other governing bodies influencing jiu-jitsu policy to protect female athletes from discrimination and exclusion on the basis of their sex by defining eligibility for the women’s/girl’s categories to participants born female. Women and girls of all ages deserve access to fair competition, training and victory equal to that of their male counterparts.
